Streamline Your Workflow with the New DIBBS Navigator Exclusion Tool

In the world of federal contracting, speed is a competitive advantage. However, speed is impossible when you’re wading through hundreds of solicitations that don't fit your capabilities.

To help our users bid smarter and faster, DIBBS Navigator is excited to announce a powerful new feature: Selective Solicitation Exclusion by NSN and FSC. Available now for both trial users and subscribers, this tool allows you to refine your feed with surgical precision.

What’s New?

You can now proactively "silence" solicitations that don’t apply to your business. Whether it’s a specific part or an entire category of goods, you have total control over what hits your dashboard. You can exclude by:

- 13-digit NSN (National Stock Number): For ultra-specific part-level filtering.

- FSC (Federal Supply Class): Broadly exclude the first 2 or 4 digits (e.g., excluding FSC 65 to remove all Medical/Dental solicitations).

Why This Changes the Game

1. Reclaiming Your Morning

Most spend the first hour of their day manually scanning lists and "disqualifying" irrelevant leads. By using the Hide Excluded NSNs toggle, that "noise" never even reaches your eyes. You start your day looking only at viable opportunities.

2. Reducing "Analysis Paralysis"

When your feed is cluttered with FSCs you don't service—like seeing FSC 1630 (Aircraft Wheel & Brake Systems) when you specialize in electronics—it creates cognitive load. Eliminating irrelevant data at the source allows you to focus your mental energy on the technical requirements of the bids that actually matter.

3. Scaling Your Bidding Volume

Efficiency is the precursor to scale. By spending less time filtering, your team can review more qualified solicitations per hour. This increases your "at-bats," which is the most direct path to increasing your win rate.

How to Get Started

The interface is designed to be intuitive and non-destructive, meaning you can toggle these views on and off as your needs change:

- Quick Exclude: Click the "Exclude NSNs" column on the far right of any row to instantly add a filter.

- Toggle Your View: Use the "Hide Excluded NSNs" checkbox to see the difference in your results in real-time.

- Manage Your List: Click the "Get Excluded" button to review, edit, or remove exclusions from your master list.

Pro Tip: Not sure which codes are cluttering your feed? Use the lookup link within the tool to identify the specific FSCs that represent your "noise" and clear them out in one go.

Stop filtering the noise and start winning the bid. Log in to DIBBS Navigator today to try the new exclusion features.
